About

Pamela Calore is a documentary artist. She uses a variety of mediums in her work with drawing, painting and photography being the main components. Her documentary work focuses on historical and social issues.

Calore has conducted education workshops that bring art lessons to schools and shelters. and orphanages in San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. This work was done through the capacity of the San Diego Museum of Art in the education department and has fulfilled a grant from the National Endowments of the Arts and Qualcomm.

Most recently, she has established Drawing AcrossThe Lines Inc. a non-profit organization dedicated to continuing the work of education. Calore's art is exhibited in universities, cultural centres, galleries, and museums, such as the New Bedford Art Museum and The American Labor Museum, and have appeared in several newspapers and .articles in Amnesty International. and documentary films such as "Sin Fronteras/Without Borders", directed by Giorgio Serafini.
